I’ve always had a head full of stories wanting to be told, and I don’t think I’ve ever struggled to come up with ideas for new ones. (If I’ve struggled with anything, it was always the habit and time commitment of getting those stories out of my head and into written form.)
I’m going to post some of my short stories here – some of them recent; some written years ago but only just finding their way out into the world. I’ve also started working on my first novel and will be sharing the process of writing it here, as well as details of the finished book.
Published micro-fiction
Over the last 12-18 months (as of December 2024) I’ve been participating in a local writers’ group. Our group has set monthly writing tasks, with the result being a diverse collection of short written works. My contributions have all been fictional, but some people have also written short biographies or memoirs. The project has been a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to meet other local writers.
Now the group is in negotiations to have our collection of micro stories published. If all goes according to plan, our anthology will be printed and available for sale in the first half of 2025. It will also be available in electronic format.
